I'm not sure how precise it is. You might want to talk to Jonathon at Kiptronic.

Re: A Missed Opportunity for Podcasting?

I had the same thing happen with my podcast, Cubicle Divas. A rep called me up to find out what percentage of my audience is Canadian. They were representing a Canadian company that has since launched a national campaign to get people to switch to their service.

Thankfully, I had those numbers because I recently surveyed my audience. But when she asked me how could she find Canadian specific podcasts that target a particular demographic, I was stumped. Not many podcast directories (if any) allow you to search by locale.

A problem indeed.

Re: A Missed Opportunity for Podcasting?

Bryce - sorry, I wasn't clear. The advertiser is a New England based company and is looking for New England podcasts to advertise on.

Christopher S. If I produce my show in the Midwest (or anywhere else on the planet), but most of the listeners are in California, does it not make more sense to seek California-centric sponsorship opportunities?
