I think it is actually about finding what you are good at, and doing that, rather than beating your head against the wall about things you might be less good at.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A good round of working through The Artist's Way, by Julia Cameron, also helps to identify the internal things keeping you from success. It's a tricky balancing act between having the right mindset and doing the right actions while also staving off negative questions -- "What if I fall short?" "What if I don't have enough time?"
