Thanks for adding me to your list of Top 20 People! I met so many great people who I sincerely hope to continue to communicate with, learn from and teach. I didn't get any sleep all weekend but I still wish I could still be at PodcampNyc! :)

Re: The PodCamp NYC Top 20 People You Must Meet

Chris

This is not a pitch for people from my company but, I think added to that list should be Robert Coghan, James Simon, Amanda Devincentis,Rebecca Matt, Emily Las, Mary Duffy and Dante Bucci. They are essentially clean slates hungry for knowledge on social media and I am really proud of them all for taking the leap into this space. As you say, they are tommorrow's rockstar's and I love them all. Just wanted to share...

Re: The PodCamp NYC Top 20 People You Must Meet

And weird. Like arts students. Only, we're smarter.

Re: The PodCamp NYC Top 20 People You Must Meet

Awesome Chris. After PodCamp Toronto it was so heartening to get emails from folks who had come to find out more about podcasting and were thereafter starting their own.

I was commenting to someone last week that cultivating a close community can lead to a closed community (or at least the appearance of being closed) if you're not careful. Efforts like this will ensure we don't end up as an exclusive club, talking to ourselves about how great we are.

Although we are pretty damn great. ;-)

Re: The PodCamp NYC Top 20 People You Must Meet

This is fanatastic. Simply the best. And most importantly, everyone needs to know they are their own superhero. We just need time to develop our powers.

Re: The PodCamp NYC Top 20 People You Must Meet

Great list and a good one at that. I think I need to clarify that I'm cool with lists. I just hate when they rank things and state as being the authority on a matter.

Looking forward to meeting some of these people!

C.C.
