Advanced Social Media Course is Live!
Ive also reached the 5000 person limit on Facebook. Its interesting that Jeff has opened another page. I actually talked to the Facebook folks about that (I was surprised at how good they are at responding to emails) and they warned me strongly about it being a violation and to use my Facebook Musicians Page instead.
Question:
do any of us really need to follow more than 2000 people on Twitter? Thats a lot of noise:)
So if I had mass-followed people 3 days ago, my limit would be maybe 3-4k but now, despite my always having maintained a 1-to-1 ratio and been a strong Twitter supporter, I have to CHOOSE between followers?
That's outrageous.
And if it's true - it will only serve to hurt Twitter - because I have no reason to use a service that won't let me interact with people w/o telling them that some of them aren't "as important" as others.
I'm not a big plurk fan tho.
I'll either be on identi.ca or given my preference Kwippy.com - which has given me unlimited invites and let's me thread comments.
Well one thing is for sure, myspace will never over take friend.. err, can't even remember what that site was called!
I'm thinking frank zappa must have been onto something when he suggested that stupidity is a more common element in the universe then hydrogen.
