We can not be in a depression because to be in a depression we would have to be in a recession for two years. Technically we didn't go into a recession until later last year. Therefore this would still be a recession not a depression.

For once, I pretty much agree with you without a branched off argument about "what if".

I wish both sides would sit down, shut up and get to work. Their bickering isn't getting us anywhere.
